Honoring Algoma’s Past. Building Its Future.

4th St Bridge is a historic Algoma property brought back to life through the vision and hard work of owners Terry and Pam Gillespie. Located at the corner of Navarino Street and State Road 42, the building has stood for more than a century — first as part of a lumber yard, later as the long-time home of The Quilted Fish quilt shop and residence. Today, thanks to a complete restoration, it begins a brand-new chapter.

The Couple Behind The Project

For Terry and Pam, restoring the property wasn’t simply a business idea — it was a chance to create something meaningful for the Algoma community. They wanted to preserve a piece of history, add something beautiful to the entrance of town, and provide new opportunities for residents and small business owners.

They’re excited to offer:

  • Beautiful, thoughtfully designed residential units
  • Versatile commercial spaces with great visibility
  • A high-quality property that elevates the neighborhood
  • A welcoming place where entrepreneurs and residents can thrive

Their enthusiasm for the project shines through in every conversation — from choosing Arts & Crafts colors to working with the DNR and Kewaunee County Parks on a potential trail easement behind the building, connecting directly to the Ahnapee Trail.

A Prime Location in the Heart of Algoma

Nestled just steps from the Ahnapee Trail and near the new trailhead, 4th St Bridge sits in a high-traffic area where small-town charm meets business opportunity. On-site parking and easy access from both State Road 42 and Navarino Street make it convenient for residents and customers alike.

This is more than just a place to live or work — it’s a chance to be part of Algoma’s ongoing story of renewal and growth.
